Mean and the Symbolic Interactionism Theory: Addressing Society through Significant Language. This paper explores Mead's perception on the development of language as a means of promoting significant social interactions. This paper applies these theories to the development of Mead's symbolic interactionist thought, where he believes that language is used as a method of conveying social standards.
