Poetic Generations in Yeats and Faulkner. In this essay, cultural history is considered in the poetry of Yeats, and in the fiction of Faulkner. Each writer discusses the relevance of history and the ages, generations, in relation to their respective cultures; however, each author differs considerably in how these histories are valued.
